I was expecting it to be a nice chair, but it's an average chair. Nothing great about it. I wish I had spent extra and bought Think chair in place of it.

The Steelcase series 1 chair that I bought for my sons room has amazing comfort, the blue cushion with the white-grey body matches the interiors of my sons room perfectly. The chair can be adjusted in height, the sitting cushion base slides outwards, and the armrests can be height adjusted. The headrest (the best in any chair I have experienced so far) has just the right amount of tension for a long work session. Highly recommended, and specially for kids who are schooling from home. Great build quality. Seat gets warm after a while, but that's expected of a non mesh seat of synthetic nature. I had to buy a separate lower back support. The seat should have sloped a little bit more to prevent pinching of lower art of thigh.

I was struggling for a long time to find the perfect chair. During this experience, I learnt that most office chairs are made for tall people and are not suited for short people with a petite body frame. The typical problems are high minimum seat height (feet dangling and not able to touch the floor), large seat depth (unable to sit with back stuck to backrest), wide arm support (need to stretch out arms leading to shoulder pain) I tried this Steelcase Series 1 chair in the experience center. The staff explained the 4 adjustable features of the chair (seat height, 4D armrest, seat depth, lumbar adjustment). I could adjust it correctly as per my requirement and ordered it immediately after coming home. Been using this chair for about 1.5 months. It is expensive but totally worth the comfort, adjustability, and superior quality, specially after struggling with terrible back problems with other chairs before.
